About the event
This is a hands-on cooking class, plus some demonstration.
We will make:
French Onion Soup - sweet caramelized onions in a deeply golden broth, simmered with thyme and a splash of sherry, then topped with a crusty baguette slice and melted Gruyère cheese
Salade Lyonnaise - 2 kinds of lettuce tossed with crisp pancetta, a tangy vinaigrette, and topped with a perfectly poached egg
Croque Monsieur Sandwich - toasted bread layered with buttery Gruyère, ham, and a velvety béchamel sauce, then broiled until golden and bubbling
Chocolate Mousse - Silky, airy, chocolatey dessert, topped with a generous swirl of homemade whipped cream
